Tourist keen to see spot a whale or two need only walk along the cliff path that stretches for 12 kilometers from one end of the town to the other. Whales can be seen as close as 20 meters away frolicking on the sheltered bay or just beyond the breakers. The rumbling sound from the whale cries help horn signals to the visitors as to where the whales can be spotted.
