This is one of the spectacular tours in Cape Town. You start this tour by driving along the Atlantic seaboard. Here you get panoramic views of the beautiful beaches of Cape Town. You drive past Clifton, a residential suburb with the four famous bikini beaches. These beaches are good for tanning but not for swimming. Just before entering Camps Bay there is the Maidens Cove parking area which is a must stop. Camps Bay Beach can be seen from the photo stop at Maidens Cove. After Camps Bay, you proceed to Hout Bay, which is at the start of Chapmans Peak Drive which was the brain child of Sir Frederick de Waal, the first administrator of the Cape Province. In Hout Bay you get the opportunity to buy fresh fish. You can also book a boat to Duiker Island to see the seals. But there is an additional cost for the trip.
